¶ Explanation
Each pack starts at one of eight tiers of increasing value - Wooden, Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Celestial - and can repeatedly move up tiers with a 30% chance per upgrade. This means that even a pack starting at Wooden, through successive upgrades, can reach the Celestial tier.
Packs are accessed by running the /packs command.

The result value can be calculated like this: Base Value * (1 - Upgrade Chance) + (Upgrade Chance * Result Value of the pack a rarity above)

The value used in trades is the Target Value, not the Base nor Result Values.
¶ Temporary packs
These packs have been used in events from the 2025 Christmas Event onwards and don't disappear from your inventory after the event that they're used in ends.

¶ The Reward Algorithm
- A pack starts with some specific rarity.
- Two random things can happen here:
- Doesn't upgrade: go to step 3;
- Upgrades: upgrade by one rarity and repeat step 2 (unless the pack is a Celestial).
- Once a final pack rarity is chosen, get its base value (see table above).
- Pick a random cat type (every cat type has the same chance of being chosen: 1/22).
- Find out the number of cats to reward:
Pack Base Value / Cat Type Value, with the whole part being the guaranteed reward. - For the fractional part, it represents the chance of getting another cat.
- For example,
42.69means you will get 43 cats in 69% of cases, and 42 in the other 31% since you can't get a fractional cat
- For example,
- If the entire number is below 1 (no guaranteed cats, this happens when rare cats appear in common packs), a special cutscene is played to build up the excitement for a chance of getting a rare cat.
- If the result reward is nothing, fall back to 1 Fine cat.

Instead of predetermined cat rewards, you now unlock Cat Packs! These packs have different rarities, and have a 30% chance to upgrade a rarity when opening, then 30% for one more upgrade, and so on. This means even the most common packs have a small chance to upgrade to the rarest one!
The rarities are Wooden, Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Celestial!
The extra reward is now a Stone pack instead of 5 random cats too!

¶ Trivia
- Packs were added on February 28th 2025[1].
- A tweak on the Platinum pack emoji (changing the sparkle color to prevent confusion with Silver) was done on March 31st 2025.
- Before the Pack Design Update on June 1st, 2025, the sprites were hand drawn by Aflyde. After the pack design update, the sprites were hand drawn by TheTrashCell instead, the same person who made the new cat and achievement emoji designs.
- Since July 16th, 2025, if you have 5 or more packs in your inventory, an "Open all!" button will appear, which opens all packs that you have[2].
- If you have less than 50 packs and you press the "Open All!" button, Cat Bot shows you the process from each pack, and if you have more than 50, it shows you all cats you got from all packs in total.
- Better pack opening featuring a custom amount of custom types of packs was added on January 12th 2026[3].
