¶ Trading
Trading is a mechanic to trade cats with another person. A trade can be triggered with the /trade command.
Trading can be a bit of a risk, always be careful of who you are trading with as trades aren't reversible.
¶ How to trade
When you run the /trade command, an embed will appear with two fields for each user participating in the trade. The user that ran the command will appear first. Each user's section contains their username, a list of cats (or other things) offered, the total value of the offer, and the amount of cats offered.
There are three buttons below the embed: Accept, Deny and Offer....
To offer cats, press the Offer... button and a dialog will appear with two fields as shown below.
Cat or Pack Type, Prism Name Or "Rain": Must contain either a cat type, a pack type, the name of a prism, or "Rain". This is case-insensitive. You may only offer one thing per popup. In order to trade multiple things you need to go though multiple offer popups.
Amount to offer: Defaults to 1. Must contain any number representing the amount of things to trade. This will not work if it is not a whole number, or more than you own. Putting in a negative number will reduce the amount of things offered and reset Accept states.
If your entry is valid when you press Submit, your offer will appear in the trade embed.
To deny the trade, press the Deny button. This will edit the embed message to simply read "[@your_username] has cancelled the trade."
To accept, both you and the other person must press the Accept button. Once you have accepted, a check mark will appear by your username in the trade embed.
Once both parties have accepted, cats will be traded.
¶ Values
Each thing has an assigned value based on its chance of spawning or set values. During a trade, the total value of each side's offer will be displayed underneath the list of cats offered. The table below displays the value for each cat type rounded to the nearest whole (except packs, which is rounded to the nearest fifth) which is the same way they would be shown in a trade if you only put one of them in the trade.

¶ Trivia
- If you attempt to trade with Cat Bot, it will offer 9,999,999 eGirl cats; totaling to 20,539,997,946 value. However, there is no way to get Cat Bot to accept. If you accept the trade, you will get an achievement called "Desperate".
- If any of the items in the trade disappear during the trade, Cat Bot will say "Uh oh - some of the cats/prisms/packs/rains disappeared while trade was happening", preventing debt.
- On March 31st, 2025, the rain minute value was changed from 1100 to 900.
- When both people accept the trade at the same time, it can trigger the "Blackhole" achievement.
- To remove cats/packs (but not rains/prism) you need to write a negative number.
