Cat Bot's achievement system is a system to track your progress, such as simply catching a cat, to more challenging goals such as getting all cat types, and many more things, such as saying random words/phrases in chat or running commands.
You can view your achievements by running the /achievements command, which will show you the amount of achievements you have as well as a list of achievements and 6 buttons, one for each category. Note that hidden achievements will not show unless you have gotten them, and appear separately from the others, like "69/90 + 5".
The 95 achievements are split into 6 categories:
- Cat Hunt - 17 achievements.
- Story achievements that require not just catching, gifting, trading, and owning cats, but also progressing the story.
- Commands - 12 achievements.
- Achievements that require running different commands plus some other redundant stuff.
- Random - 17 achievements.
- Funny achievements that require saying words, phrases, and other random stuff.
- Silly - 24 achievements.
- More of the same as Random, usually a bit more difficult, but still funny.
- Hard - 20 achievements.
- Difficult achievements that require more time, luck, and cats.
- Hidden - 5 achievements.
- Unfair achievements that require actions that can't be expected from a normal user, such as looking into Cat Bot's source code.
¶ All Achievements
There are spoilers on how to get achievements ahead and they will NOT be hidden. Viewing them may ruin the fun of learning the bot but they can help you with the achievements you struggle with.
¶ Cat Hunt
This category has the main achievements in Cat Bot, the achievements in it take some skill with catching cats and also has some story achievements mixed in.

These achievements are obtained by running commands/saying simple things and pretty much nothing else.

This category is similar to Random as it requires doing funny things, but some of these achievements take more effort to obtain.

This category contains most of the achievements that require significant effort.

¶ Hidden
These achievements are extremely unfair without prior knowledge. Hidden achievements will only appear after you have gotten them, making them extremely difficult. These achievements do not count toward your ordinary achievement count, and will instead appear as a number on the side. For example, if you have 69 normal achievements and 3 hidden achievements, it will show up as 69/88 + 3.

These achievements have been removed for many reasons. Mainly for them being annoying, having relations with CelLua and Cell Machine, or just being impossible to get.

"Thanks For Playing" is a Demonic achievement, so you can't get it via
/giveachievement. It also changes its name and description after you get it. This is why you see brackets in its description. -
Achievements "Imagine Deleting" and "Curious" used to change "Unlocked by" to "Proudly unlocked by".

There used to be 34 + 5 achievements. Achievements "Beggar", "CelLua", "Cancer", "fUwU", “Crasher” and "Imagine Deleting" existed before the Achievement Update released. However, these achievements were removed (except Imagine Deleting which got removed earlier) between May 27th 2024 and August 10th 2024.

On August 10th, 2024, the Achievement Update was released, which increased the total number of achievements from 31 + 5 hidden to 69 + 5 hidden, renamed the Unfair category to Hard and added the Silly category.

"Tax Fraud" achievement was moved from the Hidden category to the Silly category and got replaced by "It's raining cats" achievement in the Hidden category to keep the same amount of hidden achievements.
