A list of slash commands for Cat Bot, such as how to set it up, basic guides, gambling, or nuking the entire server and resetting everyone. Most commands also advertise rains, show a link to this wiki, or remind you of unread news.
Command arguments in square brackets are optional and command arguments in curved brackets are required. An option after an equals sign in an optional argument is the default option. For example, [type=Cats]. If you don’t provide a type, it will be set to Cats.

¶ Setup Commands
/setup - Makes Cat Bot start spawning cats in the desired channel. If Cat Bot is missing some permissions, it will tell what permissions it needs to work properly:
/help - Learn how to use the bot, like how to play and setup. Contains stuff for an achievement.
/wiki - Sends https://catbot.wiki/ and some additional pages for quicker access. (Cat Bot , Cat Spawning, Commands, Cat Types, Cattlepass, Achievements, Packs, Trading, Gambling, The Dark Market, Prisms)
/changeavatar - Changes Cat Bot’s profile picture.
/changemessage - Changes the cat spawn or cat catch message.
/changetimings [minimum_time=120] [maximum_time=1200] - Changes the timings for a channel. Requires the minimum_time to be 20 or more seconds and 'minimum_time' cannot be more than maximum_time.
/forget - Makes Cat Bot stop spawning cats in the desired channel, the opposite of /setup.
¶ Most Used Commands
/achievements - Shows you your achievements. Can be used to access the Dark Market after you unlock it.
/battlepass - Opens a monthly progression system where you complete quests for XP to level up in the Cattlepass. You can also set quest reminders. The season changes every month.
/catalogue - Shows the value, spawn chance and the amount of each cat type in the server. You can’t view cat types that the server hasn’t discovered yet, though.
/gift (user) (type) [amount=1] - Gift an amount of a cat type, pack type, or rain (but not prisms) to another user. More than 5 of that thing (except rains) will result in a 20% tax that will be removed from you after you gift which can result in debt. This can be used to get 7 achievements and to complete a quest in the Cattlepass.
/inventory [user=yourself] - Displays all cats the user has, as well as the combined amount of cats and value of said cats. The default stat that shows your slowest and fastest catch times can be edited if you press the "Edit" button in your inventory. It also shows the amount of achievements you have and your Cattlepass level. Debt dialogue can trigger the first time you have a negative amount of a cat type. You can change your inventory for your server (requires manage server permission). Lia could also hypothetically add banner and bio customization but she doesn’t care enough.
/last - View the last time a cat was caught in a channel, a rough estimate of when the next one will spawn using timestamps, and how many rain cats are remaining if in a rain.
/leaderboards [type=Cats] - View the leaderboard of a type (category). Only the top 15 placers in each category, as well as the user’s placement, are displayed. The categories are the amount of total cats, the amount of a specific cat type, the total value, the fastest and slowest catches, the /battlepass levels and xp, the amount of /cookie cookies, and highest /pig score (refreshed every 5 minutes). This can be used to get an achievement.
/packs - Get info on Cat Packs, and open them for cats if you have them, a pack chance page is also included.
/prism - Shows you information on prisms, allows you to craft and configure them.
/stats [user] - Gets a list of stats of that user.
/trade (user) - Trade stuff like cats, packs, prisms, and rain minutes with another user! Visit Trading. Can be used to get 6 achievements and complete a quest in the Cattlepass.
¶ Supporting Commands
/bless [SUPPORTER-ONLY] - This command let’s you bless random catches globally with double cats which stacks with Cataine. Your username and profile emoji can be shown, you can make it anonymous if you want, or you can disable it which would remive your chance to bless with the global bless chance. Blessings happen at a 0.0001% chance per total rain minutes purchased globally.
cat!amount (amount) [SUPPORTER-ONLY] - Change the amount of the custom cat, regular cat limits apply.
/editprofile [color=staring] [emoji=none] [image=none] [SUPPORTER-ONLY] - Change how your inventory looks! See the image below.
/rain - Get info about Cat Rains, and start them if you have rain minutes.
/store - Gives the link to buy Cat Rain minutes.
/vote - Can be used to vote every 12 hours to complete a quest in the Cattlepass on top.gg, voting every 24 hours increases your streak, but be careful! Not voting for too long kills your streak!
¶ Random Commands
/bal - Sends an image of cat coins as shown below, doesn’t do anything else.
/brew - The bot refuses to brew coffee, because it’s a teapot. Grants an achievement.
/cat [type=Staring] - Sends a cat image of type type, see below.
/cursed - Sends the screenshot below.
/daily - Get daily cats (not)! This command makes the bot reply with "there is no daily cats why did you even try this".
However, back when cats can be obtained through voting (28th January 2023 - 1st January 2025), it displays "there is no daily cats why did you even try this there ARE cats for voting tho, check out /vote". Grants an achievement.
/define (word) - A command used to find the definition of an English word from The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition or The Century Dictionary both powered by Wordnik. If it can’t find a definition for that word, it will say "no definition found".
/fact - Get a random cat fact. There is a 10/11 chance to draw from an API containing 332 facts about cats and a 1/11 for a fact to be drawn from a pool of 4 other messages, which includes "cat", "you love cats", "cat bot is in # of servers servers", and lastly "cats are the best". In the event that the API does not respond, the bot will output "failed to fetch a cat fact.". This command can be used to get 2 achievements.
/fake - Sends a fake eGirl cat message, even outside of setupped channels. Grants an achievement.
/getid (thing) - Gets the user ID of a person (thing). Only useful when using it for /changemessage.
/ping - Gets the ping/brain delay of cat and the server’s neuron/shard. Completes a quest in the Cattlepass.
/rate (thing) (stat) - Sends " thing is (random number from 0-100)% stat ". Completes a quest in the Cattlepass.
If you put "/rate" as thing and "correct" as stat, it will always say 100%. This reflects the random fact "/rate says /rate is 100% correct".

/random - Get a random image of a cat. Grants an achievement.
/remind [days=0] [hours=0] [minutes=0] [text=Reminder!] - Allows you to set a reminder for the future with text (usually off by -5 to 5 minutes) with a DM. Grants an achievement and was a quest in the Cattlepass.
/tiktok (text) - Reads text with Tiktok’s TTS voice (in the Latin Alphabet and 300 characters max). Can be used to get an achievement and it completes a quest in the Cattlepass. If you don’t meet its restrictions, Cat Bot will throw this message:
/8ball - Replicates what the real 8-ball would say when asked a question, with 5 more negative ones added in. Grants an achievement and completes a quest in the Cattlepass
/roll [sides=6] - Simulates a fair dice roll from 1 to the number of sides you picked, with the number of sides determining the possible shape given (e.g. 6 sides = cube), otherwise, it just shows "d # of sides ". This completes a quest in the Cattlepass.
¶ Minigames
/casino - A gambling minigame, but it’s impossible to win. It costs 5 Fine cats and gives out 1-5 Fine cats, resulting in an average loss of 2 Fine cats. It used to cost 5 Epic cats. This can be used to get 4 achievements.**
/cookie - Imitates a simplified version of the cookie clicker game, where you cannot spend cookies on anything. There is a leaderboard attached to it as well as 2 achievements.
/roulette - A gambling minigame where you bet an amount of cat dollars on either red, black, green, or a number. Betting on either red or black have the same percentage of landing on it (being ~48.65%). Betting on a certain number and landing on that number or betting on green has a the same percentage as well
(being ~2.7%).
/rps [person=EVERYONE] - Starts a Rock-Paper-Scissors game with the person you chose or, if you didn’t choose anyone, start the game with everyone at once. The person or everyone can pick "Rock", "Paper" or "Scissors" until you also pick "Rock", "Paper" or "Scissors". The wins, ties, and losses will then display. The maximum duration of a game is a day.
Cat Bot always wins in /rps.

/slots - A gambling minigame, but it has no risk and it’s with the slot machine instead. It can even remove all negative amounts of cat types if you win big! This can be used to get 5 achievements and complete a quest in the Cattlepass.
/tictactoe (person) - Start a game of Tic-Tac-Toe with person.
Grants an achievement if you win. The person can’t be a bot because it will make the game be at a standstill since the other bot doesn’t know what to do. You can play with Cat Bot, although it is impossible to win because the bot knows what to do in every situation. Both people will get randomly assigned X or O regardless on if they ran the command or not. And if it’s not your turn, Cat Bot will say "It’s not your turn!". This also completes a quest in the Cattlepass.
/pig - Starts a Pig game, with the text at the start explaining the rules and showing your best score. This can be used to get 2 achievements and complete a quest in the Cattlepass.
¶ Miscellaneous
/credits - Shows everyone who had contributed to the bot, all APIs Cat Bot uses for such commands as /random, /fact, and /fact, open source projects, and everyone who had tested Cat Bot before its public release.
/info - View information about the bot. Shows the system specs and usages, the status, and some stats.
¶ Non-slash Commands
cat - Catches a cat (if there’s one), otherwise it will react with :pointlaugh:. Can be used to get 8 achievements and complete quests in the Cattlepass.
cat!ach, testing testing 1 2 3 - Makes Cat Bot send the message "test success" and grants an achievement.
cat!sex - Makes Cat Bot respond with "…".
car - Sends the image below within an embed, with the caption "car!" and gives an achievement.
cart - Sends the image below within an embed, with the caption "cart!"
cellua good - Anything containing this makes Cat Bot "dox" you (respond with a random IP address).

disable (server id) in Cat Bot DMs - Disables /battlepass reminders in a server with the server id. Useful if you want to disable reminders in a server you aren’t in. And since October 8th 2025, this link would appear in every quest/vote reminder.
please do not the cat - Takes away one Fine cat and shows how many you have left. Grants an achievement.

¶ Other Admin Commands
| Admin commands in Cat Bot can only be used by people with the "Manage Server" permission. So if you want to prevent people from using these incredibly powerful commands, just remove that permission from them or disable that command for them entirely. |
/giveachievement (user) (name) -Gives any achievement with its name to a user (except Thanks for Playing Cataine Addict, if you try that, Cat Bot will privately respond with "HAHAHHAHAH no").
/givecat (user) (amount) (cat-type) - Gives an amount of a cat-type to user.
/forcespawn [type=random] - Spawns a cat automatically, with an option to choose the cat type. If there isn’t a chosen type then Cat Bot will spawn a cat with the type chances. If there is already a cat, Cat Bot will privately respond with "there is already a cat" to let you know to catch it. If the type is invalid it will privately respond with "bro what".
/preventcatch (person) (timeout) - Prevents a person from catching cats for a period of time with timeout (0 to reset).

/nuke - Reset all data in the current server.
/reset (user) - Clears user data.
¶ Developer Commands
These commands can only be executed by Milenakos herself.
cat!custom (user) (name) - Gives that user a custom cat.
cat!eval (code) - Executes code in the channel where the command is executed. If it causes an exception, the bot responds with said exception.
cat!news (announcement) - Makes cat bot say the announcement in all /setup-ed channels.
cat!print (text) - Says the text in the channel where the command is executed.
cat!rain (user) (minutes) - Gives that user a cat rain of duration minutes minutes.
cat!restart - Waits for all cat rains on all servers to conclude, then restarts the bot.
cat!sweep - Resets the channel’s status of cat spawn.
¶ Deleted Commands
/dream (prompt) - Was used to generate an image using an AI. Was removed due to a bad AI.
/event - please see Cat Bot birthday 2025
/feedback (message) - This command would allow you to send feedback via DMs to the developer. It was later removed due to Cat Bot’s support server: Cat Stand, and it’s support channel.
/redeem (code) - This command would allow you to redeem cat rain codes for actual rains. Back in v0 cat rains you would get a code which you could use with that command to get a rain. This was removed due to the original Cat Rains being removed.
/say (message) - This command would allow you to say anything as Cat Bot. It was later removed due to users using it to say hate speech, such as slurs.
/warning - This command would send the image below.
It was later removed due to it being outdated with the new cats.
